If you're exploring Yaesha and banging your head against its many puzzles, this guide breaks them all down. Everything you need to solve them is here, from the Water Harp songs to the Tower of the Unseen.

Yaesha Water Harp

Before you can use the Water Harp, you need to pull a lever on the top floor of the building on the other side of the door to the left of the harp. Getting there means traversing a series of regions. Once the lever is pulled, the harp becomes active when you input the correct pins.

You'll find the harp's instructions in a book on a table inside the building. There are eight symbols, each referring to a pin on each row. A horizontal line means no pin should be set.

Main Song

1st row: Fifth peg

2nd row: No peg

3rd row: Fourth peg

4th row: No peg

5th row: Third peg

6th row: Fourth peg

7th row: First peg

8th row: No peg

Completing this song lifts the bridge to the Ravager's Lair. After playing it, talk to the Flautist, he'll play the secret song needed to access the next reward.

Secret Song

1st row: First peg

2nd row: Fourth peg

3rd row: No peg

4th row: Second peg

5th row: Fifth peg

6th row: No peg

7th row: Third peg

8th row: No peg

Completing this song awards you the Bolt Driver. Speak to the Flautist again after playing it, and he'll gift you the Scroll of Binding . You can do this both before and after the main boss fight.

Yaesha Tower Puzzle

There's an invisible doorway on the wall between the two staircases leading up to the tower. Enter it to find a dial puzzle and a locked door. To solve it, you need to memorize four glyphs. These glyphs appear on the elevator, step on it then step back off. As it ascends the tower, memorize the four glyphs on it. The glyphs change each playthrough for this event.

Enter them in exact order, starting from the outside ring, aligning with the central arrow pointing upwards. Behind the door, you'll find the Blooming Heart.

Imperial Gardens Puzzle

Find all four glyphs scattered throughout the map and memorize them. The order you input them doesn't matter, as long as all four align with the central arrow pointing upwards. The symbols are the same every run.

The unlock is:

  1. Turn the first dial once.
  2. Turn the second dial twice.
  3. Turn the third dial three times.
  4. Turn the fourth dial four times.

Doing this opens the floor to a ladder leading to the Crossbow.

Imperial Gardens - Blood Moon Trapdoor

If you enter the Imperial Gardens while a Blood Moon is active, look for a path to the left of the ruin's entrance. Nearby is a trap door with a golden full moon crest. It only opens during a Blood Moon. Behind it, you'll find the Full Moon Circlet.

This amulet, or another amulet with the same sigil unlocks the Misty Step Dodge when paired with a ring that also has the same sigil.

Endaira's End Wind Tower

To solve the Wind Tower puzzle, stand in each doorway in the correct order. Each doorway has a glyph representing its floor number. Each doorway plays a sound, and the wind rising up the tower will sparkle in each doorway, but only when you stand in the correct order. If the wind doesn't sparkle, restart from the correct doorway.

The solution is in a book inside a hidden room. To reach it, drop off the ledge to the right of the tower, facing a waterfall.

Single Player order:

3rd floor

2nd floor

1st floor

3rd floor

When completed, the Wind Hollow Circlet rises from the ground.

Coop order: Two players must stand on different floors at exactly the same time.

5th and 2nd floors

4th and 3rd floors

4th and 2nd floors

1st and 3rd floors

When completed, the Band Band rises from the ground.

Living Stone

Shoot the crystal faces of the four statues in the room. This opens the floor in the center. The chamber at the bottom of the elevator contains a chest with the Lithic Signet.

There's a stalking statue in the chamber that quickly follows you when you're not looking at it. Another one is at the top of the elevator. If one catches you, it's a one shot kill. To kill them and get their loot, approach up close and backstep when they start to swing. Immediately fire into the crystal in their face. You may need to repeat this a few times, they're invulnerable when standing still.

Postulant's Parlor

Game solution:

Middle → Top Middle

Bottom Middle → Bottom Left

Bottom Left → Middle Left

Top Middle → Middle

Completing this unlocks the Royal Hunting Bow.

Note: Different moves on the game board open and close different doors in the level. This can let a second player pass through doors to grab hidden items while you move the pieces. Standing under doors as they close will instantly crush you.

The Clock Tower Event

After fully ascending the Clock Tower, you'll find the Timekeeper's Jewel in a chest.

To make the Hewdas Clock start ticking again and complete this quest, visit the Lemark District and solve the clock puzzle. Opening the clock drops the Clockwork Pinion, which you insert into the gears at the top of the Hewdas Clock Tower. Doing so awards the Broken Timepiece.

To solve the clock puzzle, look at the time on the Hewdas Clocktower. Copy that time into the clock puzzle in the Lemark District.
