There are poisonous and not poisonous mushrooms in the game, be careful which mushrooms you want to eat
How to check mushroom details:
Instead of clicking "Eat" immediately, keep the action button pressed and select "Pick." Then, in the inventory view, mouse over the mushroom icon and press the button that gives more information. This also works with other foods, it shows nutrition values and what vitamins or minerals you'll get.
