A reorganized, no-spoiler version of a community tips list, grouped by topic so it's easier to understand what to prioritize first if you're new to the game.

A quick note from me: I've kept all the original advice but reordered a few things so the "do this first" stuff sits at the top. I also added a few extra comments based on my own experience with the game. If you're brand new, read the first section twice it's the one that matters most.

1. Managing Your Time (Most Important!)
Persona 3 Reload runs on a calendar system. Every day and night you spend doing one thing is a day you aren't doing something else. These tips will help you avoid wasting time.

Prioritize your school Social Links early. There are stretches of the game where you have limited free time, so if you fall behind on school-based Social Links, you may not be able to finish them. One player missed completing the Fortune and Temperance Social Links on their first playthrough because of this. Don't be that player.

Moon Social Link is the exception. Moon can be ranked up on days off, so it's safe to save him for later. He's flexible almost everything else isn't.

Use the Level Up Clocks to boost party members who are falling behind. There's no EXP Share in this game, so clocks are your main tool for catching people up. Rotate them rather than dumping them all on one character.

2. Tartarus Strategy
Batch your dungeon crawling. Try to clear an entire Tartarus block in one night, and time your trips for 1-2 days before a full moon.

Why? Throughout the month, Elizabeth calls you about civilians trapped in Tartarus who need rescuing. These calls are spread across the whole month but if you save your big Tartarus push for right before the full moon, you can rescue everyone in one trip. This frees up your other nights for boosting social stats or hanging out with party members.

Rescue missions matter! They give great rewards, plus Twilight Fragments if you find a cat. Don't skip them.

Social Link characters can get lost in Tartarus too. If you don't rescue them, you permanently lose the ability to rank up that Social Link. This is one of the few genuinely missable things in the game treat every rescue call as urgent.

Finish every Monad Passage at the end of each Tartarus block. These unlock extra Shuffle Time rewards and are required if you want to fight the game's Secret Superboss which, unlike past Persona games, you can actually challenge on your first playthrough.

From me: Monad Passages are easy to forget about because they sit at the end of a block. Make a habit of checking them before you leave.

3. Free & Easy Resource Management
Free courage boost: Visit the nurse's office at Gekkoukan High the day after a Tartarus trip for a free courage boost that doesn't cost you a time slot. Free stats are free stats.

Stock up on SP items weekly. Vending machines around town and in the dorm restock every Sunday, and SP-healing items are rarer in Reload than they were in Persona 5 Royal so buy in bulk once a week.

Grow your own SP items. Once the Garden unlocks, plant Soul Spinach for a renewable SP item source. Dorm hangouts with characters who like gardening boost your crop quality and yield, so it's a solid time investment.

Ken's coffee is great endgame filler. His cooking hangouts give you coffee, which heals SP (like in Persona 5). Once you've maxed all your dorm hangouts, repeating this one is a good way to spend otherwise-empty late-game nights. Repeating gardening hangouts is another solid option for those quiet late-game nights.

4. Social Links & Party Members
Don't sleep on Yukari. Do her dorm hangouts (cooking and watching TV) 3 times each to unlock her personality skill, which halves the SP cost of healing spells. This makes her nearly a must-have late game especially once you unlock her Second Theurgy, which gives the whole party a free Concentrate.

Unlocking every character. Some Social Links only appear after you've made progress in others. To unlock everyone, get these ranks first:

Social Link Character Rank Needed
Fortune Keisuke Hiraga Rank 1
Emperor Hidetoshi Odagiri Rank 1
Chariot Kazushi Miyamoto Rank 2
Hierophant Bunkichi & Mitsuko Rank 3
Hermit Maya Rank 3
Strength Yuko Nishiwaki Rank 4
Magician Kenji Tomochika Rank 4
Hanged Man Maiko Oohashi Rank 3

Female party member Social Links also each require you to max out a specific stat, on top of these rank requirements.

Linked Episodes. Do the Linked Episodes for your male party members they boost stats, tell good side stories, and can unlock certain Persona fusions, just like normal Social Links. There's also one more character with a Linked Episode in November worth doing as well.

The Star Social Link. Complete this one if you want all of the protagonist's Theurgy Fusion Spells. It rewards the Car Key item, which is required to obtain Helel a Persona needed for the Armageddon Theurgy.

From me: The Star link is often overlooked because it unlocks late and doesn't seem important at first glance. If you care about 100% completion or the ultimate fusion spells, don't skip it.

5. Combat Tips
Junpei performs much better with physical skills than magic. Build him accordingly.

Akihiko's Theurgy Charge triggers as long as any buff is active at the start of his turn it doesn't have to be one he applied himself, despite how the description reads. Any buff counts.

Charge and Concentrate both work on Theurgy skills, so stack them for big damage or big healing.

Don't waste incense on Shinjiro. He's strong enough without it save your incense for other party members.

6. Quick Recap Checklist
Prioritize school Social Links early in the game.

Do dorm hangouts 3x each (especially Yukari's).

Buy SP items every Sunday.

Plant Soul Spinach once the Garden unlocks.

Save Tartarus trips for right before the full moon.

Rescue all Social Link characters lost in Tartarus.

Complete every Monad Passage.

Hit the required Social Link ranks to unlock every character.

Do Linked Episodes (including the November one).

Finish the Star Social Link for Armageddon Theurgy.

Save incense skip using it on Shinjiro.

Extra Tips From Me
Keep a mental note of which days are school days vs. days off. Your planning changes completely depending on this. School day = school links. Day off = Moon, Sun, Strength, and other non-school links.

Don't hoard SP items "for later." Later never comes. Use them when you need them. The vending machine restock means you'll always have more.

If you're following a max Social Link guide, follow it exactly. P3R is tighter than P5R when it comes to free time. Winging it on a first playthrough is fine, but don't expect to max everything without a plan.

Twilight Fragments add up. Don't ignore the cat rescues. They're a reliable source of fragments, which you'll want for Shuffle Time upgrades.

Talk to everyone in the dorm regularly. Dorm hangouts unlock character-specific skills that are genuinely useful not just flavor.

Save before big Tartarus pushes. Not because you'll die (you probably won't), but because you might want to reroll a Shuffle Time result or rethink your party.
