So I kept getting wrecked by the same enemies and got tired of looking stuff up mid-match, so I wrote this down. It's not fancy. It's just what works. Some of this you probably already know. Some of it took me way too long to figure out.

Also heads up, Trial Variators can swap out Specialist Ex-Pop and Prime Assets so you might not see all of these every run. Don't panic if you don't see one of them.

Regular Ex-Pop

Grunt – the basic one. Walks around, hits you, nothing crazy. Just use doors and corners and stay out of sight. Darkness helps. Don't overthink it.

Big Grunt – same as a Grunt basically but he hits harder and takes forever to go down. The good news is he's slow. Keep stuff between you and him. Corners are your friend.

Pouncer – this one camps inside hiding spots and yanks you out when you walk past. Listen for her. She makes noise before she grabs you. If she gets you, mash the button, or yell at your teammate to come kick her off. Works every time (mostly).

Berserker – blind as a bat but hears EVERYTHING. If you sprint near him you're basically dead. Walk. Crouch. Don't be loud. That's it.

Screamer – he's asleep until you make too much noise. Then he screams and messes up everyone nearby. Just crouch past him. If you need to do something loud, throw a bottle somewhere else first to move him.

Night Hunter – this guy has night vision so hiding in the dark does nothing. Kind of the whole point of him. Lure him into a lit area and go from there. Stop assuming dark = safe when he's around.

Specialist Ex-Pop

Pusher – he grabs you and then farts gas in your face that gives you Psychosis. Don't walk in front of him. If he's coming for you, throw something or pop a Stun Rig and back off.

Pitcher – throws molotovs at you from far away and leaves fire everywhere. Just break his line of sight before he throws. Don't run through fire unless you literally have no other option.

Jaeger – she sees you through walls and hiding spots, which is super annoying. So don't hide from her. Just run. She's slow. That's her weakness. Use it.

Imposter – looks like one of your teammates and then stabs you when you get close. Keep track of where everyone is. If you see someone acting weird or appearing out of nowhere, be suspicious.

Prime Assets

Leland Coyle – hits like a truck, has a grab, and his baton can disable your Rig. Don't run straight at him. Use doors, darkness, throwables. Just don't be in his face.

Mother Gooseberry – she's aggressive and shows up right when you're trying to do objectives or extract. Just keep moving. Doors and corners help. Throw stuff at her to buy a few seconds.

Franco Barbi – shotgun. Open areas are basically suicide when he's around. Get behind cover and break line of sight before he fires. Don't stand in the open like an idiot (I did this a lot, don't do it).

Kress Twins – Otto saws you up close, Arora poisons you from range. Watch both of them. Avoid the poison. Use cover. Don't get stuck between them or you're done.

Liliya Bogomolova – uses mannequins and hiding spots to jump you. Check mannequins that look off. Jammer Rig is great against her. X-Ray also helps.

Special Threats

Skinner Man – shows up when you have Psychosis and just chases you nonstop. Use an Antidote to end it, or keep running until it wears off. Hiding doesn't work, I tried.

Scapegoat – runs away from you and has explosives strapped to it. Use the Tracker and Microwave Trigger for the objective. When it finally blows up, don't be standing next to it.

The Biter – fast melee guy on a chain. Don't trust the chain to keep you safe, he closes distance fast. Keep moving and put stuff between you and him.

Stuff I keep having to remind myself

Break line of sight. Doors, corners, whatever. It matters more than running fast.

Don't waste throwables. A brick can literally save your whole run.

Darkness is good but not against everyone. Stop relying on it for Night Hunter.

Listen. You can hear enemies before you see them. Use that.

Don't enter a bad area with no stamina. You'll regret it.

And honestly? Most of the time it's easier to just avoid enemies than fight them. You don't get points for being a hero.

That's it. If this helped you, cool. If not, sorry I wasted your time.
