Just a heads up - I am not 100% sure this is Suicide Guy. I tried to activate it on my account and it says I already own it, and SG is the only one of the possibilites.
You can install steamdb plugin and activate the key via browser
It will then show the owned game
Yes, but that does take time and Steamdb will keep the key if not already owned by Steamdb.
I don't mean to donate the key to steamdb
If you have steamdb plugin installed, you can activate the key on steam site as normal:

If you owned the product, it will show an extra info to tell you which product it is. Like this:

It works by extracting subid from the response of the key activating request sent to steam
