I'm Just a Wall is a multiplayer prop hunt game where up to 30 players become cats to hide and seek. Morph into cacti, candy or trees to hide across the island, or play as the seeker and spot the scenery that looks just slightly off. Developed and published by indie developer, this is a chaotic party game built around deception, observation, and the simple joy of being a cat who is also inexplicably a cactus.
The core loop is classic prop hunt with a feline twist. As a Hider, you disguise yourself as everyday objects and blend into the environment, trying to look like you belong. But hiding alone won't win the game you need to collect materials, build a boat, and make your escape. You can also free your trapped friends, adding a layer of teamwork to the chaos. As a Seeker, your job is to spot the scenery that looks just slightly wrong. A poor disguise will get you caught in no time, and with 30 players running around, the island is a constant game of "one of these things is not like the others."
What makes it stand out is how the developers responded to a brutally honest problem. After launch, they posted: "This is a multiplayer game, but we only sold 4 copies total, so there was no one to play with. Rooms without enough players will now be filled with AI cats. (They might honestly be better than real players.)" That kind of transparency and adaptability is rare, and it turned a potentially dead multiplayer game into something you can actually play solo or with a small group. They've also added new modes like PowerUp Red Light, Green Cat, where cats with over 25 different abilities must dash past automated turrets to reach the finish line.
It was released on July 27, 2026. The game currently has only 2 user reviews on Steam, but community aggregators report a 100/100 rating based on those early impressions. The developer discloses that AI coding tools assisted with some of the game's development, and AI cats are used to fill rooms when player counts are low. System requirements are mercifully low: Windows 10 64bit, an Intel Core i3, 4 GB RAM, and a WebGL 2.0 compatible GPU. You'll only need 500 MB of storage space, and the game supports Windows, macOS, and Linux.
Who's it for?
If you love party games like Prop Hunt, Among Us, or Goose Goose Duck and you want something with a cute cat theme and a genuinely funny premise, this is exactly your kind of chaos. If you've got a group of friends who enjoy laughing at each other's terrible disguises, the 30player lobbies are built for that kind of shared absurdity. It's also perfect for smaller groups or solo players because the AI cats mean you can always find a match. And if you just want a cheap, lowstress party game that doesn't take itself seriously at all, this one's got your name on it.
