๐ Description
GeoFlag is a cozy, educational geography game for the quietly curious the armchair traveler, the parent and child sharing a globe, or anyone who still gets a small thrill from discovering a country they didn't know existed. It's built around a single, cohesive living world, and every mode feeds back into that world, making learning feel less like a quiz and more like wandering a planet you're slowly getting to know.
Study a Living Globe
Study Mode is a navigable 3D globe you can spin and explore freely. Pick a region, fly in, and tap any country to learn its flag, capital, language, currency, and a natural wonder. You can switch between a photoreal satellite Earth and a clean classic map, and the more you learn, the more your world is revealed. There's no scoring, no timer just you and the planet, at your own pace.
From Orbit to the Map
The core Map Game opens with a cinematic dive from orbit down onto a photoreal Earth, where you place flags onto the right countries. Regional levels build toward the whole world, with US States as a bonus and a Hardcore mode that adds the microstates most people miss. You earn stars, unlock new expeditions, and gradually expand your reach across all 193 UN member countries.
Five Ways to Play
Beyond the Map Game and Study Mode, there are several other ways to engage with the world. Endless Expedition is a single run that lasts as long as you can keep going flags come one after another, you have three lanterns, and a wrong answer costs you one. The further you go, the deeper and rarer the world becomes. Border Run sends you from one country to the next using nothing but real, shared land borders type your way from neighbor to neighbor and watch the paths narrow with every step. There's a hint ladder for when you get stuck, and a globe at the end that draws your whole journey in arcs. Geo Cards turns flags into quick, lighter sessions where you match flag pairs from memory, perfect for shorter breaks. And there's a Daily Expedition ten countries, one fresh puzzle, the same challenge for every player worldwide. Build your streak, beat your time, and come back tomorrow.
Progression and a Cozy Home
Every achievement is a magnet on the door of your own cozy room. Earn one and it lights up in color, while the ones still ahead of you wait in gray. The room fills in as you go, and a guide by your side quietly points you toward whatever you're closest to earning next. There are 25 achievements to find, and for the first time, they unlock on your Steam profile as well. A combo system rewards getting into a rhythm, and progress is saved per level, so you can come back whenever life lets you.
Reception and Details

On Steam, it currently has only a handful of user reviews, with one aggregator noting it's "too few reviews to generate a score." Early player feedback has been genuinely warm, though. One reviewer wrote: "I used to think I was good at geography before playing this! Really awesome game, super useful for both me and my daughter." Another noted: "Since realizing I didn't know as much as I hoped, this game has helped me learn where countries are as well as their flags and interesting facts about them." The game has also been praised for having no ads and no microtransactions.
AI Content Disclosure
The developers disclose that some of the game's content was created with AI tools and reviewed by the developer before inclusion, including visual art, audio, and ingame text. No AI content is generated while you play. Specifically, visual assets were created with Recraft, sound effects and music with ElevenLabs, and all assets were reviewed by the developer before inclusion.
