Brainrot Autobattler is a chaotic roguelite autobattler where you buy the dumbest units alive, evolve them into stronger forms, and trigger absurd trait synergies to survive a run full of shops, bosses, boons, and terrible decisions. It’s the kind of game that knows exactly how ridiculous it is, and it leans into that energy with a grin.

The core loop is classic autochess with a roguelite twist. You choose your starting boons, assemble your team, and navigate procedurally generated maps. Each layer throws new challenges at you, shops to buy units, elite encounters to test your strength, and boss battles that push you to your limit. Combat is automatic, with your units fighting based on their stats, keywords, and trait synergies. But before the battle begins, you have time to plan your formation and strategy. You’re not just watching numbers go up, you’re building a broken combo and hoping it works.

What makes it stand out is the sheer amount of stuff to experiment with. There are 10 Rot Levels with increasing difficulty and rewards, an Endless Mode with leaderboards, and 7 Layers per run with varied map layouts. You can unlock and customize your playstyle with 50+ Boons, and the multiple trait systems give you endless ways to break the game. Procedural map generation means no two runs are the same, and the shop system lets you buy units, reroll offers, and spend gold strategically. The bosses are weird, the units are dumber, and the whole thing is designed to be a mess in the best possible way.

It’s developed by a small indie studio, and released on August 15, 2026. The system requirements are mercifully low, an Intel Core i32100 or AMD FX6300, 2 GB RAM, and Intel HD Graphics 4000 will run it fine. You’ll need about 1 GB of storage space.

The reception so far is small but positive. With only 10 user reviews on Steam, it’s still flying under most people’s radar, but every single one of those reviews is positive.
