A survival Mashup that actually works
Let me start by saying this. This game feels like someone took all the best bits from Valheim, Minecraft, 7 Days to Die, Terraria, and a few other favourites, threw them into a blender, and somehow came out with a cake that actually tastes amazing.
You've got this massive open world to explore, you can glide around with your trusty glider, or just wander on foot hoovering up every rock and blade of grass like some kind of medieval Roomba. Bored of running around? No worries, lose yourself in building your very own village. There are so many resources that if you've got the imagination, you can make something truly epic.
If you're in the mood for chaos, grab a friend, fight over who gets to open that shiny golden chest first, or charge straight into the Shroud and cause some carnage. You can be whoever you want. A sneaky archer, Harry Potter waving a wand around, or even Gandalf.
The game looks gorgeous, runs surprisingly well, and the devs actually listen to the community while consistently delivering more content. I really hope they keep it up, because we mere mortals are more than happy to keep receiving these awesome updates.
Highly recommend this one if you're into survival, building, exploring, or just yelling at your mates when they accidentally fall off cliffs.
