Even after hours of playing, I still caught myself hesitating before opening the next door, because who knows what's waiting on the other side?

The story is interesting without getting in the way, and the game rarely slows down. The chases are thrilling, exploring feels rewarding, and somehow the game always finds new ways to make you feel completely vulnerable.

If you're after a horror game that's all about fear, atmosphere, and pure survival. Outlast is an easy recommend.
