The game doesn't use one of the standard VN engines (such as Ren'Py); thus, a lot of essential features are missing. You cannot skip seen text, this becoming a real issue when there are 7 endings to reach. You cannot change the text speed, which is very slow by default. You cannot save so you can quickly explore alternate paths.

There's obviously no text history; thus, if you want to check a previous line that you might have accidentally missed, then you're out of luck. Even worse is that the text auto-progresses, you can't even take a break if needed (unless you tab out mid-sentence).

At some point, there's a choice between comitting suicide or not. The game doesn't have a sensitivity warning trigger, which might catch some players off-guard.

On the positive side, the game is very short. One playthrough takes around 20 mins, but even so, you are forced to replay 90% of the text you have already seen, which is a huge waste of time. The VN is voiced, but the audio doesn't sync with the text. Sometimes you hear the sentence before the text is even displayed on the screen. Other times, the text is already there but the audio trails behind. Based on the credits, the voice-overs are made by the developer, although they sound awfully like an AI voice read them out loud: very plain and lifeless.

Also nice is that there are a lot of backgrounds, AI-generated though.
