If you're planning to play this game solo, it's painfully clear that the game wasn't designed with single player in mind. Easy difficulty gives you the option to respawn at a checkpoint, but only if another player is still alive. Which, surprise, doesn't work when you're playing alone. So every time you die, the entire level resets, items shuffle around, exits randomise, and you're left with a frustrating loop of trial and error until the game decides to cut you some slack. It wouldn't take much to fix this, for example just add a simple lives system, like three lives per level for solo players.
And the multiplayer? I checked the server browser and found exactly zero games available. Zero. Despite Steam showing around 5,000 players currently online. So either the matchmaking is completely broken, or I'm missing something.
On top of all that, the audio mixing is genuinely awful. Some sound effects are deafeningly loud even when I turned the volume down to like 10%. They did absolutely nothing until I finished a level, and then suddenly my sensitivity was moving at double speed for no apparent reason.
Honestly, unless you're planning to play this with a group of friends, there's really no reason to pick this up. It's frustrating, buggy, and feels like it was built for coop and nothing else.
